How long for reply?

We sent halifax our claim for hardship 14 days ago by recorded delivery but still no reply, how long do i wait before chasing this up? Its for £4000 in charges but even if they only offer us a little bit it would help lots.

i gave them a ring and they said its with their collections department but they can't give me a timescale on when it will be dealt with so i guess its just a waiting game.0

done the same with me and messed me about for ages, finaly said an offer was in the post , 150 quid for a 4000+ claim , pathetic , im now at the fos and waiting on them , its not easy , so stick at it call every day
and i hope u have better luck than me0
