Hi, does anybody know if I am entitled to a full refund. I found the website for a particular company confusing and accidently opened 2 accounts. Said company have refunded me my investment minus £19. Because this was a mistake and not a cancellation am I entitled to a full refund?

With investments, if you cancel during the cancellation period you get back your initial investment providing the value of it has not fallen. They have to refund without initial charges.
If the investment value has fallen then you get back the lower value.
If the error was theirs, then you would expect them to void the duplicate application. If the error was yours then you have the liability. If you used a financial adviser, the adviser has the liability.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
