Stay strong Jellie, you're nearly there and then you can spend but only if you promise to pay in cash! :)

    Good point!
I guess that if I redo my budget I can do my usual trick of sticking savings and spending money straight into different accounts. Then I'll try and keep putting any left over spending money into savings in the same way I have been for paying the debts off.

You have been doing really well - don't let yourself blow it now! You are an inspiration the way that you have managed to say no so often to what you want to buy.... When you are debt free you will have more options to say yes! Which will be lovely!

Thanks SH. I've decided to focus on saving for things for the new house etc. I guess the main thing is to get things with money I've saved and not use the CCs unless I've saved the money to pay in full at the end of the month! I'll have to look at the best cashback deals!

Paid another £55 today. It will really help me in this last stretch that I now don't have to pay household bills for my house!! Can't wait to get paid!

Just realised I should be able to pay off my debts and start saving on pay day- over a month earlier than planned!! :j
I'm feeling quite proud of myself as I was originally supposed to be debt free in September so I should have knocked off 6 months from my debt free date by deciding to aim high and try and be debt free for my birthday!!
