That sounds like a great idea to focus on something different every month. Would keep the motivation up.

How's the meal planning? I just made myself get something out of the freezer so I know what I'm cooking tonight lol. (after takeaway last night I felt bad)

I find it far more effective spreading the resolutions. Having focused on something for a month it's hopefully become a habit by the time I move onto the next thing. If I try it all at once I don't tend to last that long!!

Meal planning not going so great at the moment. Although we're going to make an effort to eat some of the things we've frozen to get us through this week. The idea is to clear more space in the freezer and get back to doing proper cooking in a couple of weeks when we're both off and hopefully have more energy!

    Thanks SH
Just paid £606.99 to the CC- figure if it's not in my bank account in the run up to Christmas I won't be able to spend it!! I'm desperate to stay on track if I can.

I've been thinking about resolutions and will probably focus on financial stuff in January. For a start I need to start keeping a spending diary again.

It's a difficult balance though- want to have enough to be able to go out with OH for meals etc in our 2 weeks off. Hopefully I've left enough!

It's amazing how much extra little things you end up spending out for in the run up to Christmas. It's really tough reigning it in without being tight!!
