Well, he has been chatting to me for a couple of hours on FB without mentioning my message. Eventually I asked him, and he didn't reply. Then he casually mentioned he would be grateful if I was careful what I say about him (I assume this is because he is panicking now because we have a tenuous friend link - his cousin is a friend of a friend of mine).
I am not exactly pleased that I am being asked to be secretive - it's just far too Shrek-like. So I told him i wasn't happy, he asked if we could discuss it tomorrow, and I said we could, except that by then, it would be too late to decide I'm not going to the wedding with him.
So he has now decided he will reply to my message, but needs to think carefully about wording to avoid misunderstandings. Which really doesn't sound to bode well at all. How can you misunderstand either 'I'm hoping we will be more than friends one day' or 'I just want to be friends'?
And how can you misinterpret 'I'm going to date other people' or 'I'm not going to date other people'?
Anyway, I am awaiting his reply, but it could be some time."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Hmm, milk accident leads to chocolate... are you sure it was an accident?!
I'm ok with milk, but ready brek type stuff always explodes, ex didn't believe me when I refused to make it because I knew what'd happen, so asked him to instead. Until he had to apologise for me only getting half a bowlful...
Snags, hope things get better, I've just been round and had a two hour long heart to heart with my sister, hopefully things are ok between us now. Why are relationships so hard?!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Oh Snags, that really doesn't sound good. Sounds like he wants to say something nasty in a way that makes himself look good. Hope I'm wrong.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
