I even like the slightly prickly gruffness, the random rants, and the confusing chain of thought that makes him leap from conversation to conversation more quickly than I can keep up with at times.

I just don't know if I can cope with the mixed messages and the silly rules and the guardedness

are you with my OH??! :rotfl:

Random ranting is currently his forte. He listens to far too much Radio 5......

Oi!!! I do read this!! :rotfl:

For anyone that saw my little 'Facebook incident' last night, I was up until almost 2am talking to Mr Sunday and have almost resolved things. Not in the way I would like, but we have a temporary truce at least. I am on the verge of walking away and he knows it. I have asked him to give me straight answers to a few questions, and what happens now will really depend on what he says. Did someone say this was supposed to be fun???

    Maz, have fun tomorrow!

I have olive trees too, but they never grow olives, Think it's a bit too cool where we are.

Sorry to hear you are no clearer on the whole situation....

i find it hard to believe you have no other offers!

Hope you have fun this evening Maz, even if you ARE on soft drinks. :)

And no, sadly no other offers, I really haven't been looking. There's still the guy at work, we chat a lot and he often sits near me when there are plenty of other seats available (we 'hot desk' so don't have a specific place we sit), but I suspect it's just a friend thing.

Thinking of wearing a sign saying 'I already have brilliant friends, I don't want to be your friend'! :D

Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

although Snaggles, there's nothing wrong with not being with anyone - it's better than being with someone who may be stringing you along. I hope he isn't but he does seem to be having a bit of a strange old dilemma about stuff.

SFARD, the first time I went to Lincoln I parked at the top and worked my way down through the bookshops - lugging 30 books back up the hill was not fun! So now I park at the bottom and walk up unladen.

Maz and Snaggles, hope you both have fun this weekend!

I'm being naughty and eating fish and chips... it's ex's fault, I took a load of stuff to his new place, which is round the corner from a gorgeous fish and chip shop. But I've got mushy peas too, so that's veg, so it's all healthy...
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
