Contract phone - please help
Hi everyone.
I signed up yesterday to an 18month contract with Phone4U.
But as I am new to this whole contract thing, just wanted to ask a quick question.
My monthly plan states 600 mins + unlimited texts. I just checked how many minutes I have now and it said only 39 mins,+ 57 seconds. Ok, fair enough I may not have the full 600 mins this month, but surely not only 39 mins when we are only 7 days into a month!!!??
Please help me out with this one...

Sounds like your billing month is coming to an end soon, therefore you will only pay for the amount of days. I think by approximate calculations, that is 2 days worth of minutes when dividing 600 by 30 days. After 2 days, your minutes will reset to 600.
It's best to phone up customer services just to make sure though.

I was just worried that I may get charged £30 as for like 600 mins, but i only have 39 minutes!

If its £30/m then that's around £1/day... So they will probably add 2-3 quid onto your next month and charge you like that.

I've called Orange today, and you were right. my billing month does start from the 8th of every month, so hopefully by tomorrow I should have my 600 minutes.
