i know wot u mean but people jsut cant afford handsets on their own i know its ends up costing nearly twice as much but its spread out so easier
i am i afraid one of those who do want to get out due to recent lack of signal i was going to try and stick it out but why should i if it only works in certain places and im not getting full benefit? What goes around-comes around0 -
People want the phone but not the commitment.
My contract is up in October. Not sure whether I want to get a new phone contract or a sim only contract. (My phone broke and I was given a Vodafone branded N96 from a family member). My only predicament is to get a sim only vodafone but they dont seem to include Browsing so I will likely end up paying more than if I got a free phone on a good contract.
OT: are there any companies that dont brand their phones. I would be tempted to get say an o2 contract with a new N96 which wasn't branded. My N96 is a bit lose on the slide so not sure whether I would get much cash for one of these recylcling companies otherwise I would do that.
Anyway looking at it. If you want a brand new spanking good phone then you should be prepared to pay for it over 18months etc. Not try and get out of it a soon as possible. If you can't afford it then scale down. but then thats one of the reasons that this country hit a brick wall. People want something for nothing.
P.S is Quidco good. It seems amazing but hardly anyone ever mentions it out of the forum.0 -
A lot of customers probably feel as I do.
They sign a "contract" based on the available information they are given, only to find that the mobile phone company is not providing the service/s which they are advertising and/or bad service/coverage.
And depending on the service provider one uses, any number of excuses are given depending on the operator that you speak to but you never actually get to speak to someone who can rectify the problem when things go wrong.
Because at the end of the day all these companies want is your money.
In my experience, customer service is the last thing on their minds.
A contract works both ways.0
