looks interesting, but couldn't work out a few things. To get the benefit of txt2, do you need to be txting other fones which have txt2 downloaded onto them? Could'nt work how much cheaper individual txts would be.


+ I'm with o2 payg 300 free txts a month, + I have a £7:50 calls5o bolt on. Does it affect these at all? Sometimes I run out of the 300 free txts, txt2 would be good if it took over once the 300 free txts ran out.

You cant currently use this service on o2 pay as you go. Yes you would have to text other people that have the application on the phone. It would not affect any current bundles you are entitled too, as it uses a GPRS connection, and just uses this connection cost to charge you. You send the texts to and from the application so would work differently from sending a normal text message. I think these applications will only ever take off if you can send direct to a phone which doesnt have an application installed, and that person can then reply to the message in the normal way. Until this, I think it will flop.

Good to see they put in bold the fact they'll charge for you SERVICE UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENTS, but fail to put in bold they'll charge you lots for sending unwanted advertisements to your phone.
