Taxi's late so here's another gem from my keyboard.

Sophie T is a new user who jumps to Melannknee's defence straight away. Three new posts all in defence of the OP. Hmmmm.

OP's daughter is also called Sophie. Hmmmmmmm.

    Priceless.

In case anyone reading this is wondering where they have gone - the OP has now deleted her three Sophie T posts. ;)

You couldn't make it up! :rotfl:

I told you to stop digging melannknee, they're still running rings around you.

You couldn't have embarrassed yourself more, melannknee. You've been caught signing up under a different name in order to post supportive messages to yourself.

    Owned hard.

On Monday I reserved and on tueday I brought a go go hamsters deluxe gift set from argos

Simple - return it for a refund - Argos do say they'll take stuff back within something like 14 days, so that should get your money back.

That's a brilliant suggestion tryfive but she actually bought it on Tuesday. So unless it was Sophie's birthday present and has been hiddden away - I can't see a 3 and a half year old leaving a toy alone for 6 days without playing with it!

So by now it is probably not in a fit state to return eg box destroyed etc.

Just did a quick google - the hamsters are electronic virtual pet type things. They look quite cool and move about and squeak and stuff and I suppose they last longer than a real hamster!

OP doesn't have a leg to stand on though (even if one of her lovely A levels happens to be Law). The playset she bought does not contain a wheel at all and never has done. It is just the basic house and you have to buy the wheel, car, skateboard, surfboard etc as add ons.

I reckon she saw a picture of the accessories together and then was disappointed when she handed over £20 and only got the house!!! It isn't a lot of kit for 20 notes imho.

They are the same price everywhere as well so she doesn't really gain anything from a money saving point of view by returning the item. Plus the child may be attached to it by now.

im only about 4 weeks found out last sat'day when 2 see doc monday and have to go bk to doc this monday with a decision. Doc said ill be due beginning of march. i could go bk to work part time i suppose but i worry that the money i earn working i would have to pay 4 childcare. the other thing is that, i didn't write b4 that worries me is me and hubby had a little spilt 4 a month about a month ago so it worked out i got pregnant while we were separated, (i know it was naughty to still sleep with him but couldn't help myself lol) just feel we have only been bk together 4 five minutes then this happens i just hope we r as strong as we were b4, like they say a baby will make u or break u. i do feel guilty as my daughter gets bored when its just her she needs some1 to play with and i want a boy more than anything i thought to myself its not the right time but really when is the best time? there r a few of my friends that r pregnant at the time so i suppose i wont be alone there b places to go and people to see, 1 friend said i am lucky 2 b pregnant there r alot of women who would love 2 b in my position, so ive got 2 days to make a decision.
