Looking to hire a car - just an 'economy' sort - for a week from Chania airport, 1st - 8th Sept. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

Ta, just had a search and the fuel policy on a 'Fiesta-type' was pick-up empty/return empty!

Smallblueplanet, I have mentioned Netflights and Citrox as well although I have to say I haven't used Citrox its just I noticed that they are cheap! Thanks for your comment anyway, at least its constructive.

We used economy car hire when we went to Crete in May this year, but we got the car from Rethymnon airport but I am sure they would be at Chania as well? we only paid for a smal clio size car but when we got there we had a focus waiting for us (upgraded FOC!) so I can recommend them
Only problem I found was most car hire companies in Crete charge you on pick up for the full tank of fuel (and usually slightly more than a local fillup would cost) and you have to return it empty which is difficult to do so the hire companies do make money on you!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
