vodaphone musicstation internet access charges

I have ongoing problem with vodaphone deducting calling credit for internet access when using musicstation. Anyone with similar problem? Any resolution?

  • unless you are prepared to pay internet roaming charges. The terms and conditions for musicstation state that roaming charges will be charged if accessed from abroad. However I have received a letter from vodaphone stating that "you will be charged for the data download (ie surfing and music download)". This is not stated in their musicstatioin terms and conditions. Surely it is therefore in breach of their musicstation terms and conditions? Anyone with similar charges interested in bringing a group actioin?
  • Having posted 2 entries over the past 2 days regarding musicstation, i have noticed that the vodaphone company representative has replied to several entries on the forum but not to mine regarding musicstation. Please note that the advertising for musicstation on the vodaphone website states "you won't even have to pay additional data charges". Yet I have been deducted data charges in addition to musicstation subscription for almost 2 years. Is this misselling or breach of contract? Helpful comments from the vodaphone company representative would be appreciated.

    The subscription for MusicStation means that you don't pay for the use of the data it uses.

    If you are being charged I want to get this fixed for you. Send me an email with a link to this thread from the Contact Us form, along with all the details and WRT135 in the body of the text.

  • Having tried to speak to customer services at vodaphone over the past couple of days i have found that the retentions team option is being cut off before putting through and the help option appears to be awaiting a response that does not exist. I suppose at least we are not paying 25p each time we do get through to get spoken to in a rude and derogatory manner!

    Our retentions team would be unable to solve this problem for you. Our cusotmer service team are experiencing high call volumes and so there is a delay on getting through to an advisor.

    If you follow my instructions in my first post (as all the threads have now been merged) I'll be able to investigate this for you.

    We currently have no emails in our queue so if you have not had a reply and you have sent us an email, we have yet to receive your email. Please could you resend it if this is the case, making sure WRT135 is in the body of the text.
