Samsung D500 on a 12 month contract, all free after cashback!!

Has anyone heard of Cool New Mobile???

You can also get £35 cashback on Quidco!!!

This is a great phone!! I would like to see their T&Cs but cannot find them??

Has anyone dealt with these before.

The site is similar to the mobile outlet, I feel!!

Your feedback would be appreciated.

I hope this offer is of help to others too, but I suggest you find out how to claim the cashback first, some companies are less ethical than others!!
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

Found them!!! Believe it or not in T&Cs, listed at the top!! Doh!!

    "£201 to £600 claims

Instalment 2 : - Send the claim form and original monthly bill dated 180 days (6 months) after connection, showing tariff charges and mobile number.)

Instalment 3 : - Send the claim form and original monthly bill dated 240 days (8 months) after connection, showing tariff charges and mobile number.)

Instalment 4 : - Send the claim form and original monthly bill dated 300 days (10 months) after connection, showing tariff charges and mobile number.)

Instalment 5 : - Send the claim form and original monthly bill dated 360 days (12 months) after connection, showing tariff charges and mobile number.)
    5 Part Instalment Chart

Subject to you having remained connected on the original price plan chosen for the mandatory period, we will send you a cheque for the relevant amount of cash back within 14 days, directly to your home address using the account details supplied with your original order. "

Not happy about the fact you don't get any cashback mid term, it tends to give me a little bit of security!!!

However, it is a great phone, my daughter would love it (she is taking GCSEs thihs year, nice reward I think!!! - I was lucky enough to get a pebl for Christmas!!!!! Ta to hubby!!)

My mrs wanted to go for this but after getting an e mail to say the order was confirmed we heard nothing. And could contact through the web site so she phoned up and was told they would need a dep of £150, Im not sure when they said she would get it back as she was not having any ofthat! Also she wanted to get if the phone as it was 0870

We'd be interested to know how any1 else gets on...

By the way my wife has been turned down by t mobile b4 as she has no credit history, and i think this was the reason they wanted a deposit.
We went for a 3 deal through coolnewmobile. Good looking deals though!!!

This company has been discussed on this board a few times. You should be able to search this company on here to see what the past comments were about.

Moving on, I would say with all cashback deals, the catch is usually when the customer forgets to send in their claims in by a specific date or sends the incorrect paperwork to name but a few for starters. I suppose for this cashback deal one of the big disadvantages is that if you forget to claim one, the rest are declared invalid so you have now taken on a contract that you can't afford?:( To make sure you do your do job properly (making sure to put in your claims at the correct time) note the important dates on a calendar/diary or on your phone so that you will be reminded of what needs to be done so that you will have time to put your claim in. Send in the correct paperwork as soon as you get them because if it gets lost or is delayed you will have time to send them again.

I took out a contract with them in Dec 05. They were quick to process and deliver my order. Another contract I took out was with Phonebox Direct (they are both the same company), I received an email confirmation on Tuesday (after the bank holiday) to say that my paperwork (sent a few days before the Easter bank holidays) for my claim was being processed. :)

lewt I would agree with you about your wife being asked for a deposit as she doesn't have a credit history. The companies want to know that they will be paid for the sums owed. Having no credit history will make the companies quite nervous, will the customer pay up or not?? The deposit is so that if you don't pay up they can take it from the deposit you gave them. It is likely that the customers will pay up as they are holding some fo your own money to ransom so to speak. You should get your deposit back back but the timescale may vary for different situations/networks?? Usually once your contract is up you should be able to ask them back for it, although they will not pay you any interest on the deposit.
