Hello
I have a 3 Mobile contract that I entered last September. Its a 2 year contract, and I received a free laptop as an enticement.
I transferred from T Mobile who had been my SP for about 5 years.
My 3 mobile phone service is dire. I work in Guildford and only havea signal that I can use 25% of the time. At home, the phone has no signal. Battery life is dire as the phone is continuously trying to connect to a non existant network at high transmit power, therefore flattening the battery quicker. (Once connected most mobiles reduce transmit power to conserve battery life).
So, on the basis of appaling service (both tecnically and because 3 can't even set up a direct debit, despite numerous attempts!) I want to exit the contract on the basis of appaling service. I run a small business (one man band), and the phone is paid for by the business.
I would like to keep the number, but if it has to go then so be it.

Yes, pay your cancellation fee of about 12 remaining months multiplied by however much your monthly line rental is. It doesn't take a year to figure out that you have bad signal, it takes minutes. Sorry if it isn't what you wanted to hear.0

Sorry, I cannot see a way out. You should check before whether you have signal in your area. Even then you probably had 7 days cooling off period to cancel.
