    Ok question/dilema for you all
If you were living in rented accomodation but knew you would be there for some time and that unlikely landlord would sell would you go about making it more homely for yourself. We have lived in this house for 3 years and while its fine I would really like to paint, put new curtains up and make it more our own home IYSWIM. Landlord is parents of some of our friends and I know they wouldn't have a problem with us doing this but would you say its a waste of money?
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

i have lived in MQ all my married life and have always got a pot of wilkos paint and painted, nothing special but just a tad of colour and always had my own curtains wilkos or argos etc. so yes i probably would to be honest.

not a waste of money Sally, it's where you spend over a third of your day. It doesn't cost much to make the home more cosy and personal.
