Cheap Portable DVD player

I am looking for a cheapish but decent spec (min 6.5" screen size and long battery life) portable DVD player for my sons birthday.

Anyone seen any bargains?

All assistance gratefully received.

PS tried to do a search to see if this subject had recently been posted, but search facility does not appear to be working at the moment (for me at least). So apologies if this has been discussed recently.

Anyone know any reason not to buy this? Seems like a cracking deal but I have not heard of Coby. Also heard some negative feedback about the after sales service from Ebuyer.

Any discount available from ebuyer.

the service from ebuyer has been terrible lately
i have used them alot but recently they have taken away telephone contact and everything is through e notes which they dont reply to for at least 2 days
i also ordered some stuff for xmas which is stil in the warehouse
it is a good price though

i am looking for a portable dvd player too! this does seem a bargain, but i am sure they will go down in price even more soon! i was tempted to buy a twin screen for my 2 kids, but thought that buying them one each would be better as they can watch what they like without moaning. ;D

I have taken the plunge and bought one. I appreciate they may come down in price but I need this for my sons birthday on 7th Jan. Delivery is set for 4th Jan so will let you know if it arrives on time and what it is like. I bought a case to go with it. I hope that delivery is ok as I have heard quite a few negative comments about ebuyers customer service.

Bought a case for a fiver to go with it. Unfortunately this meant I had to pay £3.99 p&P as it was not free on this item so upgraded it to £4.99 to get a faster delivery ie 4th Jan v 6th Jan.

Heres hoping! 8)

It arrived at 9am this morning ;D. Delivery was set for 4th Jan but arrived ahead of schedule.

It all works image on screen is really clear and it plays my backup DVD's as well, which is useful if they are going to be used in the car.

Thanks to Adqwerty I have picked up a bargain. Thank-you.
