            lol, don't hold your breath!!!
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt0 -
I had a the same offer from retentions they matched my orange contract down to £19 instantly, no free USB dongle thou.
But i have to agree orange has better customer services so i stayed with orange. I payed £5 more to stay with orange but its been to hit/miss with Vodafone in the past i wouldn't go back unless they really cut down the prices to £10/15 a month for that deal.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Well, hats off to vodafone, they kept true to their word - my latest bill is for the correct amount with the amount previously overcharged being credited to my account. Well done Vodafone! :T

My my, how time flies. So my contract came up for renewal, and this time round my heart was set on a Samsung Galaxy S II. Asked vodafone, and they said £40 per month to get the handset free. I said no thanks, and looked around for a good deal. Saw some online deals offering 300 mins & 300 texts, 500mb internet on t mobile at £23.50 per month after cashback.
Ordered my phone and got my PAC from vodafone. A Vodafone rep called me two days before my t-mobile handset was meant to arrive (it was actually out of stock at the retailer) and after two seperate 30 minutes calls thrashed out the following contract:
600 mins
Unlimited texts
1gb internet
Unlimited Vodafone to Vodafone calls
FREE Samsung Galaxy S II
@ £20 per month!
Now this was a long and involved process involved several calls to CS & retentions (which were made after the contract was agreed) to make sure the price per month was correct. But I got there in the end, and I think it was a pretty good deal. Remember, they want your buisness, so stick to your guns, and don't be afraid to change network.0 -
Waiting for your next post with a confirmation that you have got what you were promised. Pretty often it is not the case at Vodafone.0

My advice to you is contact Vodafone via the live chat service to re confirm your new deal so that you have a written record of what you have been offered. The live chat conversation will also be stored on your account in case of any problems.
Nice deal by the way!! Well Done!0 -
I cant find vodafone live chat......

I'm happy to say this is my 5th year a vodafone customer. This upgrade I went for the HTC One with the same mins, data, etc as before, but was determined to get a lower monthly cost. I managed to get £19 per month in VAT and the handset for free, but not before giving 30 days notice & requesting my PAC. I had to call vodafone a few days before my service was disconnected to ask whether they could do anything to keep me. They eventually relented and offered the above deal.
Imagine my surprise when my bill showed a total of £97.57 :rotfl:
I politely asked them what the hell was going on - I had been charged £50 for the handset, and £47.57 for two months line rental which they take in advance. After talking to two different Vodafone reps, I eventually got a credit of £61.57 applied to my account, so that means I paid £18 per month for 2 months. Got there in the end!0
