That sounds a lovely honeymoon too - have you been there before? i know OH would like las vegas as well - dont take wedding money into the casinos though! lol.
We are staying in the all stars music hotel, inlaws2be said they would have gone for something higher up market, but they know that we arent going for the hotel and those bits - but to be fair i dont think there be anything wrong with one we are at, looks great fun!! they knew the travel agent lady too so have added its for our honey moon on there, and we already have planned on getting mickey and minnie wedding ears to wear when we are out there!!
have had someone else ask me about pre-warning mickey as well.....i hope he remembers us!! lol!!

Hows everything with your plans/sister situation going?

After we booked ours, I sent oh a text saying my tummy was like a washing machine of happy! I know it's pathetic but it was the only way I could describe it - it's soo exciting isn't it?!

We get married the 3rd, go to Florida on the 6th and move to Vegas on the 13th. I've been to both before, and love both, but oh hasnt been to America. We are stopping at Hawthorne Suites, in the LBV area - like you say, you don't go for the hotels as there is so much to do - but it's like a little flat, so will be a good base for us. Just happens to be opposite the Premium Outlets so hope to get a bit of shopping in too. The Florida thread in the holidays section on here is great, so pop over there and there are some great tips.

And, you have to wear the ears when you are there - it's the law! lol

With regards to my sister - managed to both get the day off (I owe a colleague big time, and have worked all my lunch hours) and it was nice. Not the type of day we want, but each to there own and I'm glad they are happy. Could have a bridezilla moment here and say that I'm glad it's done now so I can concentrate on our day, but I won't :rotfl:

Yuu guys are all so excited and i'm dreading planning, i think i should have had a wedding planner but i just can't afford it. I think that is what i'm worried about the most, paying for it and then not liking what i have chosen and wasting money!!! Plus my other half is dragging his heels and just keeps saying its your day, and as i keep telling him its our day!

I just want to be as exciited as you lot!!

I was the same to start off with, but once you get into it, it just sort of clicks and you will be fine

OOh that sounds lovely, bet you cant wait to do some shopping!! I would LOVE a pair of converse trainers and OH has size 13 shoes so struggles to find normal trainers at a decent price over here and ends up with horrendous coloured ones, so he is looking forward to having a choice in ones!! lol.
Can not wait to wear the ears!!! OH wants us to wear our "normal" ears on the plane over.... said no way, so have settled on getting something printed bout being on honey moon on a jumper or tshirt to wear as a comprimise! lol.
I am glad you got sisters thing all sorted now so you can go, least you will be able to go and be part of the day and then can focus on your day again.

Oh shell, am sure will be able to get excited again - how bout writing a list of things you have sorted so that we can get excited over things you have sorted out.. Your flowers were amazing so cant see why you are worrying!! We will help you get excited again ovre things - tell us ideas you have for bits etc. just need to get the wedding buzz back... are there any wedding fairs can go to in the area, or get together with your bridesmaids/etc and speak with them about things, get them to get you excited again? xx

Hi I'm getting married on 25th June 2011!!!! can't wait, got some stuff sorted like my dress (from ebay-brand new £200), Reception, church, flowers, still got other stuff to sort. Thinking of getting invites from Vistaprint, under £100 for invites, RSVPs, Menus, Envelopes and Programme (I presume i can use this as order of service!). I'm so excited. Don't know what we are going to do for the favours, i'm looking at maybe making my own cookies...or at least having a go!!!! Any ideas let me know!!!!!

Hello Ladies, Not been on here for what seems like ages! Think its only about 6 weeks! How are you all getting on?
Personally, i had a little panic the other day... what happens if i look a state on the day, someone spills wine on my dress before i'm even down the aisle, my hairdresser/makeup artist doesnt show up? Totally silly thoughts, do you all have the same panics?

Hey MrsL2B - your date is the day after mine!!
you sound like you are getting on ok with everything! bit of advice with vista if your not aware - dont order anything without signing up first! you will get floods of emails with offers on them for different bits, and certain numbers of things are free just pay postage. We got save the date postcards, contact info for rsvps, favor cards, banners, tshirts, pen, mugs, brochures. brochures should come in a week now - coloured both sides with a photo of us on it (they are to go in invites with info of address/times etc) and were £6.47 for 25. we only need 24 to send out for the day in each invite (some do have 7 people on it!! - big familys) so am chuffed, cant wait for them to get here. Also if you sign on through nectar card you get points too!!

Hey Emma, hope you are ok! i have had few thoughts like that.. like what if i chip a nail and its horrible and no varnish on it and photographer wants a close up of our rings...! lol. silly thoughts arent they really!

Well i finally took plundge and went wedding dress trying on today was a bit overwhelmed to begin with, the ladies were laid back... a little bit too much for me i think as i didnt know what was needing to do. Had some good avice on shops from others on here!!
i got given 4 tags then just had to find ones on the rack that liked and tag them.
thing is i was so nervous and looking at them all i didnt even think about the sizes, so the first 4 none fitted as were all 12's!! how typical. felt like a right fool! Though one of the girls working there went and found about 6 that were over a size 22 so got to try some on.
There was 3 out of them that i liked and have name written down - cant find online to show pictures to you at the moment though
I did feel so much better when the dresses actually fitted on enough to get an idea.
I think i have def decided that i am either going to have to have something to cover my arms... though i thinking i dont want a jackey/bolero out of the same material as dress as dont want to feel restricted. One of the ladies gave me a shall to hold and i felt lookedc better with arms covered up.
so am pleased as i have more of an idea now which is a relief!
