I used HIPS4U and their service was professional and efficient and we had no incorrect data either.0

That’d make a good new MSE thread topic I’m sure…
Not at all, Just giving my experience to others. What's your advice and are you in a position to give it?0 -
My advice is (I thought) clear above, and also further advice if you wish:

My position… is as a UK consumer and house buyer/seller passing on my experience where I can.
From your #11 you clearly have an axe to grind with your criticisms of cheap HIPs. It’s an interesting point of view when you consider that EAs and solicitors of course use the cheap HIP companies with a hefty mark-up. (and a change of front page of course)0 -

It’s such a shame that the MSE negative posters creep out of the woodpile slagging off something they’ve not seen.
I got mine done with budget-hips.com and they were equally as efficient. Certainly, proof of purchase was available the same evening as paying.
To counter the criticism from the ‘expensive is best’ brigade, my neighbour’s HIP was definitely wrong in at least two important respects. His was done by his EA for significantly more than twice the money we paid cazaline!
Thankyou:beer:0 -
I used hips4u a few weeks ago. They were quick and it I received everything back within a week or so. Not bad for a leasehold property I thought. Loved the fact I didn't have to make one single phone call to them either. All done via email and web. Job done and very little of my own time taken. There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0
