They have some very good deals via Travelzoo. We have just booked a 5 star hotel in Rhodes, half board for £600 in October, for 2 of us, i couldnt match that anywhere else, seemed too good to be true.
Outside of that i have no experience of Olympic but they certainly seem good.

  • I've booked with Olympic a few times before and they've always been competitively priced and the reps have been decent.
  • Can someone please PM me a warning not to read this thread if anyone says anything negative? Three and a half weeks to go, and there's a lot riding on this one!

We just got back from our olympic holiday in Corfu, no probs saw the rep about twice during the week, someone else in our apartments had a problem and it got sorted out really quickly, I'd recommend them

So, reduceditem - did you book the expensive holiday with Olympic?

I've just booked (via Olympic's website) 2 weeks in Kos from Gatwick, day flights (10:50 out, 18:20 back) staying in a one bedroom apartment for £485.12 total for 2 people - departing 26th August which is pretty much the last 2 weeks of the school holidays.
It was the same price for a 1 bed apartment as a studio, the system just adds extra occupancy then gives you a bigger 'late sales adjustment' to make the price the same.
According to the invoice, the holiday (including under-occupancy, flight supplement, APD and fuel supplement) should have been £1214 total.

It includes transfers - and the services of a rep if we can find one. :rotfl:

It also includes 5 kg extra luggage to make 20kgs which I wouldn't normally bother with for 2 weeks but it was only £7.98 for the 2 of us so it seemed reasonable and ensures I don't have to worry about what I pack.

We've used Olympic many times, for holidays to Goa and Greece.
    They've always been fine.

    Cresed-leach, I'm sure you'll have no problems.
