'Olympic Holidays'....are they any good?

I'm supposed to book a very expensive holiday with this company tomorrow, so I'd appreciate if anyone could tell about their experiences with them....good or bad.

Have you shopped around to ensure you have the best price for the holiday? You could always put the details in the 'Beat My Quote' thread.

We have used Olympic for the last few holidays - 5 - and found them to be just what we want. Its a 'no frills' holiday that we use. Cheap and cheerful and never had a problem yet.

If you want to go away with a company that is not going to be in your face all holiday then Olympic are the ones.

I've used Olympic 2 or 3 times and never had any problems with them. Enjoy your holiday!

What Incapuppy was refering to was the sticky thread in the top of this section of the forum, entitled "beat my quote".

All you simply do is post the exact details of the holiday you are going to book. One of the many travel agents or other travel/bargain hunters who use this board will then look and see if they can find you the holiday cheaper.

Why wouldn't anyone do this?? A couple of minutes of your time could potentially save you a lot of money :j

I've found them to be good for the price, and when you're away you don't get pestered by the rep.

On the last few holidays i've been on i've never been pestered by a rep, but they've been there if we wanted them, i know a lot of people who wont go on a holiday if they haven't got a rep even if the holiday is loads cheaper.
Several tour operators may do the same holiday ask in the travel agents if any of the others do it and if its not cheaper stick with olympic, if its an expensive hol ask the travel agent for a discount you never know it could be cheaper than the price you've already got.
