Just checked Kent Reliance only allow full transfers out, not partial transfers out. A bit mean as I wanted to maintain an account with them.

Before you transfer out open another account, that should be okay I think, but do check.

Good idea - just checked their standard savings accounts and I have to say I am shocked by how terrible these interest rates are!

If you dont mind a £25 regular payment by standing order, go for the regular saver account at 4.5%
Their website is not very clear but if you can open with £100, then make regular £25 payments in then that should keep your membership with them open. 4.5% isnt too bad and you can make withdrawals it seems, but dont go below £100 to retain membership.
