12 Month Contract

What! you say, and you would be correct.

HOW many mobile providers now give Low cost 6 or 12 month contracts.
They all want to sign you up for minimum 18 months. Try Mobile phone checker limit the search to the 6 and 12 month contract deals Select £15 payment. You get ONE hit Select £20 several pages.
I usually receive more than I use. My wife using MY phone txts a lot.
The one hit from 3 Mobile gives me 100 mins and 200 txts. More than enough for me. BUT only ONE choice.
These days of so called recesion, and they all want you to sign your life away. What if I lose my job next month? WHY should I need to get insurance in case I lose my job, They all want your money, guaranteed for longer.
I need my money. I dont have it to give to them. I prefer contract over PAYG. I know I have the calls available, and the times that I need to make a lot of calls, dont have to worry.

  • Or why dont you look at the range of SIM only packages that the networks offer. The only reason you get tied into a long term contract is due to you being given a new handset to use.

If you dont need the handset then a 30 day contract can work out a right bargain.

There's a simple reason for this, on these contracts, you get a heavily discounted phone. The contract needs to be long enough to ensure the network recovers the cost of the phone from you.

Otherwise, anyone could get an expensive phone on contract, keep it for a short period and then cancel and keep the phone, losing the network money.
