There's no law against opening someone's door and putting a parcel on the floor. I can't see what your problem is. Lock your door if you are that bothered about errant delivery men.0

You may find it creepy. But it's quite normal. Again if you don't want people to open your door LOCK IT.0 -

That's the way doors work - you have to lock them to prevent unauthorised entry."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -

i find it all very wrong that you are all giving the woman a hard sarcastic time about the subject as id be very worried that a post man feels its ok to open someones door and place goods in there house when the door was open without them even knowing , in my eyes he shouldnt even be trying the door handle , a missed parcel card should have been placed through the letter box and as far as you are all saying about locking your doors i bet most of you dont lock your doors when you are in the house !!!!!!!!!!
roses_babe if i were you id put in a formal complaint to the parcel company who delivered it as it should be fairly easy to find out who deliverd it ,
in this day and age NOONE should be entering anyones house without there permision !!!!!!!wins :- x2 hair dyes ,mascara, epilator, personalised card , glass photo ,comp angels please throw some luck my way:j:D:A:)

No, because I don't know what's on the other side. However I would if the door was ajar. Or, as seems in this case, it's a glass door where you can see what is on the other side, therefore opening it, you aren't going to chance seeing the occupants standing there naked.0 -
also on some houses its not always obvious if the door you are knocking is the front door ar the door to a porch/hallway0
