Recommend a friend ending on 3

Hi moneysavers,

Just thought that I would let you know that the recommend a friend service is ending on 3 from 1st of September 2009.

Currently any 3 customer who is on an 18/24 month contract can receive a credit for recommending someone else to join the network.

Have a look at 3's website for full t&c's.

So it definetly won't be extended like it has been in the past when it hass expired? Anything likely to replace it?

From what we have been told it is ending and that is that. If there is something replacing it then we have not been advised of it yet. I will keep an ear out and post on here if it does.

I have lots of friends but wouldn't recommend three to them because I would quite like to keep them as my friends

Hi moneysavingpete, not sure where you heard this info at 3, but I've been in touch with them and they've stated that the Recommend a Friend service will not be ending and will continue as usual. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll see what I can find out for you!

It has been announced internally through retail senior management.
