Return problem

Another quickie if a may. Bought a phone which turned out to be faulty. I have contacted the seller and forwarded replies to him from Nokia care about the fault. He replied saying he did not know about the fault (likely because its the keypad which doesn't light up) I then asked for his full address to return the phone, as i cant find it anywhere on Ebay. This was 3 days ago and no reply. What can i do now? never had to do this before.

Open up a dispute on ebay and request his details from ebay.
You'll need to send the phone back via special delivery I think.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Use this form to request contact details.0

Thanks, just done that but it does not give me his full address i.e. no street name and number.0

Their contact information should be in full including a valid phone number. If this is incomplete they should be reported otherwise how else can anyone return anything? The return address would have been on the packaging if you still have it.0

They change dit about 18 months ago, the contact details now only show the basics plus a phone number. If this was a business though then full details should be shown on auction or 'about me' page.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Correct. No street name or number or post code. No return address on parcel.0

This seems a very backward step by ebay, You do get their full address if you request payment information so in future I shall do this rather than paying instantly.Have you tried phoning them OP?0

Thinking along Stevies line, is it possible to do a request for an invoice once you have already paid? If it is that gives the name and address, but I have no idea if it is possible after payment.
I'd do as Pinkshoes says though, go to dispute and add to the dispute that you need an address for return. If that doesn't work you could phone paypal and ask them for advice.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The problem here is that the seller has to send payment info, its not automated. If they are trying to fob the buyer off I don't see any other way round this apart from a paypal claim.0

I have opened a dispute with pay-pal saying no contact from seller requesting return address.0
