Capital One - low goodwill offer

Hi I claimed successfully from Capital One, went down normal route. Was claiming £629 with interest. Capital One wrote back to me saying that they believe the charges were fair. I then sent the same letter back to them saying the charges were not fair and would pursue further if the matter was not resolved. The came back with an offer of £64 as a "good-will gesture". I rejected this and again asked for the full amount. Capital One then wrote back to me to say that was their final offer and I should take it up with the FOS. I printed off all the details from here and sent my request to FOS. Two weeks later, FOS replied stating that due to a high volume of requests it could take up to 6 weeks for a answer from Capital One which was fine as long as i got an answer. 3 weeks later I had a letter from Capital One stating that they will be paying me the full amount within 28 days..10 days later, two lovely cheques through the door. Awesome!

Printed off everything i needed from here and never had a problem with the FOS either. Keep the faith people and you will get your money!!!
