How are you getting on with MCOL Mojo-jojo?
Hi Daisy
How long after you sent your complaint off did you recieve a reply from the FOS?0 -
About a week. Are you still waiting then?
However, I sense from the tone of their letter it will be a while before I hear anything further.0 -
Just a quick statement, 'follow it to the end'.
They offered me the minimal amount first by letter then said I could go to FOS. I decided to do some research which led me to follow the MCOL route, in my research it states that they will fight it and then offer full amount a day or so before the court deadline. Obviously without any admission.
I did this for mine and then my wifes. Both times they offered full payment 1 day before the court deadline.0 -
I only claimed the Charge plus court 8% interest however, on my latest set of documents that arrived from Cap One included their own calculation sheet in which they included there interest charge too, unfortunately I didn't claim this so they did not pay it. May be worth a try if you are thinking of claiming, in their spreadsheet it was
e.g. Charge £18 Interest Charged on Fees 0.21 Court Interest 0.120 -
Hey folks,
I was hoping to get some help please?
I had a good will offer form Cap One totalling £458  when i should have recived 1800.73 (inc interest). I wrote to them that i will be accepting the offer as a partial payment and that i will be pursuing the court for the remainder howerver i didn't and NOW i have finally got my bum into gear. So i was hoping for some advice whether to send a letter to Cap One requesting the remainder or should i just go straight and claim at court? Also would the length of time be a hinderance for me too? Where what is MCOL btw and should i contact them to claim?
Thanks in advance.

I too have received a "Good Will" offer from Captial One.
Claimed - £220.00
Cap One Offered £170.00
What should I do, accept or carry on with MCOL or FOS?0 -

Accept for sure. £50 is probably fair for their service (can't believe I'm saying that)0 -
Hi
I had a good result with the FOS. It took a bit of time but got everything back I asked for.0 -

Do you think it's worth it in my case, as they are only £50.00 quid short of what I asked them for?0
