Keep an eye on the offers cropping up at http://www.uktraveloffers.com - it's a newish site but has a lot of deals appearing every day. Some are better than others, but it's worth a look.0

I guess you need to be specific. London is not the same as Thurso which is not the same as Exeter.0 -

They often do inclusives with packed lunches and attraction tickets too, so you don't have to pay out anything else.Praying at the church of MSE should be compulsory!

2 nights for 1 at holiday inns.
Although it says only valid to August, it is a continuing offer and valid in September (try it out)
you can specify in search facility that you want a pool
Hope this helps.Lynzie Lou :dance:0 -
Second the holiday inn 2-4-1, loads all over and many with pool gym.
Basic price so add the extras for food.
The other options are the 2nDBB pacxkages most chains offer.
holiday inn
Ramada Javis
De-vere ( or the special venues offers)
Q hotels
etc
I also saw on late rooms that the Weatherspoons inns are around £30pn so cheap food and drink on site and some are in OK locations for a day or two out.
Either look for cheap places and see if you are interested in staying or decide an area then look for a place to stay.0 -
Which is more important - it being special or at a bargain price? The two are, for the most part, mutually exclusive...0

If you are talking special ie adults only try the Warner Hotels, I can recommend Thoresby Hall. I think my ex booked it thro www.lastminute.com
If its for a family the definately the Holiday Inn 2-4-1 deal, we just got home today from 1.0 -
