could just be they used a rubbish printing /advertising company and its a genuine error .

On the flyer it says Carlsberg £2.60 a pint, not Carling as you stated.

Maybe you just ordered the wrong lager?

I typed Carling by mistake. Carlsberg is what I was meant to write and is what I ordered. I guess everyone who ordered a Carlsberg that night (a lot of people) was affected.

Incidentally one interesting thing happened. At around 2am it seemed all the carlsberg ran out and Tuborg was left which they were charging at £2.60. So either Tuborg was £2.60 all night which seems odd to me as usually Tuborg is a more expensive drink and I had been arguing with the bar staff prior to orering drinks about wanting drinks for £2.60 or the manager upon recieiving complaints reduced the price. Either way this happened at about 2AM and so the benefits were lost on me and most other people as I only bought one drink after that time.

I only mentioned it, because I know in my local there is always usually a big price difference between Carling & Carlsberg.

It depends on which brewery is doing the best offers, or what lager the pub wants to get rid off and people are always being caught out ordering the wrong drink.

If you are that upset about what has happened, I would follow the advice above and report them.
