Confused! What handset to go for
I am looking to switch for a PAYG to a contract as I need to make more calls a month.
I've got my PAC to transfer my number and have looked at all the deals on CPW, mobileshop etc.
BUT I am totally confused as to which handset to go for
I'd like something small and sleek and quite like the look of the motorola Pink (typical girl!).
The problem I have with my current phone is that I can only store around 10-15 texts and the talk time is low. I'm not bothered about features like camera, MP3 player, email etc - just want easy to use, good battery life and good memory. I'd like to go for one of the cashback offers.
Any recommendations?

What about another girlie phone the nokia 6111 e2save deal on 02 you dont say which network you are on or how many mins so there is a few on 02 to choose from, the 1000 min off peak deal is 12 months at £21 and you claim 12 months back or 200 anytime mins £31 and 9 months cashback, i got my pink 6111 from phones 4u on a £16 a month tariff but i get 25 anytime mins as i have main contract for extras mins so i just wanted the phone. Whether i have been lucky i dont know but my phone goes about 5 days (off at bedtime) without needing a charge and is holding 111 recd texts so that covers your text storage.The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

I'm on Vodafone PAYG so no minues included as such.
Found a review site that might help others, although it doesn't rate the Nokia 6111 very highly!

Also I'm not sure how good O2 are - I'd have to have a deal with X network as I don't know anyone on O2.0 -

That phone is pretty damn bad, plus you cant use a memory card. The 6230i is much better.0 -
What do you think of the Nokia 6030 or 3120?

The 3120 has a few more features. Did a quick check on Froogle and you can get pink fascias for both models!"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

Hey Shaanbles,
Just thought I'd help you out a little further...
If you're planning to buy the phone(s) then be sure to go via QuidCo (http://www.quidco.com) for £30+ discount as others have recommended me.

Even more confused now I've found this site:
http://www.coolnewmobile.co.uk/index.asp
Seems a bit too good to be true, 12 mths contract for free and i get calls and texts! :T0 -
Definately sign up for Quidco! They pay around £30 when you take out a new contract through one of their links.
Coolnewmobile hasn't had much feedback through this site yet, so no-one knows quite how well they will perform on cashback deals. Mobileshop also do the Motorola L6 (silver) on O2 free for 12 months. (Just to confuse you even more!!)"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0 -
Like I needed to be confused anymore!!!
Might go with coolnewmobile as they offer free 12mths on Orange.0 -
Shaanbles,
Too much information I know! But allow me to clarify, try to make it easier for you:
QuidCo;
Everytime you are referred to a website (ie. From Kelkoo to Mobile Outlet) and you purchase something (even a phone contract!), the website that referred you will earn commision for bringing custom. QuidCo swaps the rules around. If you delete your cookies and then go back on the Internet via QuidCo and type in Cool New Mobile, you can go to the website via QuidCo and you can earn their commission (or some of it, can be as high as £50 at times!). Hope that helps.
12 Month Contracts;
Yeah, I thought it was too good to be true, and in a way it is! Periodically, you have to send off your phone bills to the retailer (in this case Cool New Mobile) to claim back your cash. This could be every four months of the twelve month contract.
Now why is it hard to believe? Because there have been instances where the company says they haven't recieved the bill so your cashback claim is void! I would personally use recorded mail, at a little extra cost of course. But the chances of that happening is slim. On conclusion I recommend you go for a 12 month contract with 12 months free, however it is up to you, just remember to send your bills off in time!!
