  • You assured me that you would have balanced views? Where is the balance in any of your posts - their are attacking everything insight.

No not attacking...just for the first time placing a consumer viewpoint. Debate it line by line? We will of course accept where we are wrong.

Getting confused about this thread.... emma , you have posted alot , but seems you are getting little replies ... why bother posting more - you seem to be talking to yourself
( to be honest I have not read the ful thread, or the board that you link to)

    Emma,
When 32 out of 41 posts on a thread are from the same person it looks like you're having an argument with yourself - and losing badly.

I haven't read most of your posts as the ones I have seem like a diatribe. But who is the "we" you constantly mention. The website links you posted are to a site which most blatently promotes the financial services of different firms from "Mr. Mortgage" to bet888. Thought you were agin financial services?

I don't know abouts sounding like a lawyer ... from that I have read I'd suggest talking to a doctor ... IF I thought the doctor could get a word in edgeways.

    Certainly a must-miss thread, Emma.
  • It has also been known that they will sell at an extreme lower price only for another subsidiary to complete the sale at a higher price. The mortgage companies have relationships all the way through the process, including estate agencies.

Notice the site you link to ( or own?) includes a MSE banner - is that implying its recommended by MSE , or does it have authority to use what I assume is a copyrighted image

  • Again, we appreciate your views but we did say that we would come back on a paragraph by paragraph basis as Homer-J covered many points in his response.

Maybe these posts are not for the incumbent residents of this forum but may be for future visitors/consumers. It may help them determine a way forward, something I would have hoped everyone here would support.

No not at all. It is a free link to consumers to a site we respect.

We have amended our site to reflect that there is no association between the 2 and to ensure that this reflects a true status. This is again, a FREE link to a site and a person that we trust and respect.

  • I would like to suggest that instead of attacking me (and I am not the owner) that you debate the points raised and in this way provide the consumer with better and more open information than they would otherwise have? You afterall did invite us to speak on these issues.

I can only assume ( given comment relating to ownership of the linked site) that your reply was meant for me .

    1. I never invited you ( singular or pural) to speak (post) on thsi issues

    2. I have no idea who you are

    3. Whilst I'm sure there is some use for "sub prime" lenders, its not an area I generally associate myself with

    4. Whats so wrong with lenders selling their book - so long as conditions remain unchanged

  • We believe that we are using this forum for the right purposes. Free to use and to bring another perspective to the industry that otherwise would not be seen. There are serious misconceptions of how the sub prime works and operates and we are of course open to debate. We do not need more visitors because of these postings, as our marketing strategy does not encompass posting to this forum. As Mortgage Advisors on this forum should note Mr Mortgage is only one of many to come on line that supports our views and seeking change and a fairer relationship.
