Your inane banter didnt work and now your trying to get personal in order to get a response.....wow, you fail to amaze me.

This is a discussion board not a "chat line". Why do you post soo many times when one post would probably sum up your last three post. Your a highly successful director/businessman, surely you can at least utilise your planning skills on here and construct a concise post rather then several smaller meaningless posts!!!!

Also, your writing style is very similar to a certain other person who has posted on here this evening!!! Maybe its just me wondering things!!!

I am now totally confused. I am answering individual questions put to me on here the rest remains a mystery to me. It's kept me busy anwyay and I can see what its now like for myself. As I said, enjoy the rest of your evening. By the way this is the most I have ever typed in my life I think but its been good practice.

By the way nmiah786, it's called being civil and polite and not being rude, offensive and obnoxious. It wouldn't hurt you to be the same.

    Sorry edited!

Hello, I just wanted to say thankyou to Emma. I am about to take out a mortgage and may have to use a sub prime and the information is an eye opener and is something I will now want to discuss with my advisor. It may even make me decide to take 6months out to try and repair my history.

    Regards, Simon.

    Sparky,

Of course it is always wise to try and repair your credit and if if 6 months will mean that you can go with a prime lender then it will be a good worthwhile wait.

Sub prime lenders do not always sell peoples accounts and to be honest you can protect yourself against the effects of this hapening:

    - Take ASU cover out to cover your payments in the event of you being off work due to an accident sickness and unemployment.

    - Take Income Protection/Life Cover/Critical Illness out to protect yourself against longer periods of absence of work (ie over 12 months). Life cover may not be a priority of you are single but your broker will discuss these with you.

    - Fix your interest rate if the lender works off LIBOR rate rather than Bank of England. This will mean that you cannot be at risk from rising interets rates. Emma may have given the impression that it is the lender that does this but is the ups and downs of the LIBOR rate that do this not the lender.

Emma did have some good points to make and I am sure that some of that will come into good use but trying to decipher it all and put in perspective will no doubt confuse people along the way.

I have suggested that for clarity this thread is locked ( although IMHO deletion might not be a bad idea either )

with any new matters on this subject having a clean start

( Yes some valid points - somewhere in those 15 pages! )

Well if it is going to be locked then I should pile in with appologies to those where I may have used difficult to understand words. I did say rectitude and the phrase 'puppet with a hand in it'. This is your own imaginations working overtime to think it was rude. I am sorry for around page 7 to dreamylittledream . Clearly there are some foolhardy in mass-debate amongst us who irritate others to extremes in getting their views across, ad nauseum. I must stop now as it is off topic. No hard feelings.
