No sarcasm intended. It was a compliment. I am 49 and after tonight I feel 109. Let me add since the last post. Married, 4 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs. Own 2 businesses outright and property in 2 countries outside the UK. Been all around the world twice and in the Army for more years than I care to remember. This site though has nearly killed me.

Not ridiculing(sp?) you but what does Own 2 businesses outright mean.

I can understand Own 2 properties outright but not the above!

    I know I'm thick:D

I am sure your not as you say you are. It means that I am the majority shareholder of 2 businesses that I started many years ago and between then they employ just over 80 people. This was not a post to impress or boast in anyway but one to show a personal side to this and what I do is of a serious nature.

then you don't own them outright surely? would that not mean you are simply as you say the majority shareholder. maybe i'm wrong.

Without going into company or financial structures etc the bottom line is that I do, just to keep things simple. There are different levels of shareholding & investment involvment but it isnt operational or long term.
