Hi EdInvestor, you may be contravening however some 'others' decisions made here by debating this topic on behalf of consumers.0

Hi nmiah786, Sadly yes and it seems this way to us too. Please view:
The long term agenda is that consumers should not know too much about this market. In fact the extreme lengths the advisors and incumbent laymen have gone too to stop us providing information on this is quite extraordinary.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=2113170#post2113170
It seems that that some are taking this stance as it is not in the advisors interest to have anything said regarding sub prime lenders and improving consumers education in this market. Far from being what has offensively been implied by the troll link it is more deep down than that. It seems, even without out our interference that worlds have been turned up side down and collusion is transparent.
However, we persist even against all the odds. I mean no harm to anyone.0 -
The bottom line: As you will see all sense of reasonableness and fairness has been provided and we make no apologies for the trouble others have caused here. I am just saddened they have taken the course they have without thinking.
We are sorry that the incumbent advisors and their friends feel threatened and insecure about this topic as well as repossessions and evictions topic as both are outside their realms of making a true impact and could effect their commercial concerns overall but it is in the consumers interest that it is felt that more information should be provided and hence we continually take the abuse and unfriendly welcome given. They know that threads are being watched by others who have more expertise in this sector and feel insecure about the information they can provide and as such collude as oppose to helping and adding value. I feel this is quite a sad reflection of the industry and this forum overall. I am not here to create concerns but to add value to the site, its members and to consumers.
As you will see here:

We consumers need things explained to use in laymans term, not essays that you tend to to write, which dilutes the points that you are trying to make or the opinion that your trying to put forward!!!
Can you not explain things in simpe terms rather the writing very long essays.
Remind me, what do you do for a living!!! Judging by the length of each of your post do you have much time for anything else!!!Debt at highest (November 2005) = £35,856
Debt currently (August 2006) = £20,790
&More £1,530, Egg £6,800, HSBC £3,760, Egg Loan £8,700
Interim goal = £23,400 (Target: February 2006, Missed but acheived May 2006)
2nd Interim Goal = £15,000, Target October 2006
Debt Free Date = February 2008 BUT I'M GOING TO BE TRYING FOR SOONER!!!0 -

I think your absoulty right and I intend to change the way I have approached this. With the hlep of the forum people here who have more experience than me on this forum I hope we can make this a much better place too.
Actually my main employemnt is in the fashion industry but I take a huge interest in social issuses.
I will stop battling with people and hope they will now generously help me with what others here have recognised to be a consumer issue.
I think and hope nmiah786 that we can do this.
Thank you for your reply.0 -

I'm sorry - your main employment is in the fashion industry and just a while ago you were ridiculing payless and asking who would listen to him as he's so unqualified - or words to that effect - where do you get this so called knowledge? you're only 20 so I can only assume you have never done a degree in finance or anything like that - so am just wondering where you fit into all this?DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

you obviously checked my profile and yet had the inability to work out that if I was born in 1980 then i'm 25 - maths is a useful subject to have when working in finance - or so I would have thought.
edit: Emma made exactly this mistake in one of her previous posts - she said I was 28- it does worry me that two such clever people cant subtract.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY
