Have you checked what's in the "cheaper" products.
Heinz is pretty much all fruit.
The cheaper products is mainly water and favorings.
I know what I'd give my kids! Ketchup provides 1 of the 5 a day in fruit.
Cheap stuff provides nothing.
Scaremongering lies. Or have you any actual evidence to support this slander? I think it is you should be checking.0 -
I don't think KimYeovil has ever posted a non aggressive post :rotfl: Very angry person :rotfl:0

They didn't, which is great news when you consider the massive difference in cost. We now just decant it all the time as it pours better than from the glass bottle. Their theory may be make it last only as long as the ketchup it contains.
I do this too - I buy Mr T's value ketchup and decant into a Heinz bottle and DH has yet to notice :rotfl:0 -
I too hate the new style plastic bottle Heinz are using for there ketchup so I contacted them by e mail yesterday, this morning in my post is a letter from Heinz going on about what causes this to happen to the plastic, plus a coupon for £3 to use against my shopping, no mention of them going back to the old style bottles.0

It depends how much of it they eat:rotfl:
Seriously though, while tomato ketchup doesn't count as 1 of your 5 a day it still provides the micronutrient lycopene which may help prevent prostate cancer and also lowers cholesterol0
