Heinz Tomato ketchup bottle.

Has anyone else noticed that Heinz has changed the plastic in their sauce bottles to a new more brittle type plastic.
I bought two bottles as they were on offer and both bottles went funny and once 2/3 of sauce used it was impossible to squeeze out the remainder.
I rang Heinz care line(number on back of bottle) and they are aware of issues and new bottles will be out soon. Vouchers are being sent to me.

I emailed them over a week ago and had no acknowledgement of email.

Maybe it's due to cheapskates like me buying Sainsbugs basics ketchup, decanting it into the empty Heinz bottle and seeing if my kids noticed a difference? They didn't, which is great news when you consider the massive difference in cost. We now just decant it all the time as it pours better than from the glass bottle. Their theory may be make it last only as long as the ketchup it contains.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
Yes, I noticed this, VERY annoying. But got cheaper ketchup nxt time so they shot themselves in the foot with that 1.0

I normally buy own brand Ketchup but the Heinz was on offer so it was more cost effective. However both bottles felt brittle and from the conversation today with customer services they are aware there is a problem and "new bottles should be in the shops soon". Hopefully they will heavily discount the old bottles if they are getting enough complaints.
Make a change decanting Heinz sauce into Tesco bottles:D~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

I am so glad to read this...thought it was me going mad ! I hate those new bottles. I have to keep unscrewing the top to let the air out then bottle gets its shape back then I can carry on squeezing. Think I might complain too now I know its not just me !0 -

Heinz is pretty much all fruit.
The cheaper products is mainly water and favorings.
I know what I'd give my kids! Ketchup provides 1 of the 5 a day in fruit.
Cheap stuff provides nothing.0 -
