How obsessive are you about housework?

After reading this post I'm shocked at how clean people are. I feel quite house proud but don't do half the things most people seem to do every day. I've only dusted once since moving into my house 2 months ago! To be honest i'm doing well if I've had time to get a shower and get dressed while running round looking after my baby!♥ Mummy to a gorgeous little boy born 11/01/09 ♥0

I dont stop picking up and cleaning after the kids and animals . As fast as I clean/tidy the mess piles up again . Id love to be like one of those super mums with spotless tidy houses and well groomed kids. Instead its a fast clear up and clutter hidey hole for unexpected guests.
My house is clean but can be untidy but after we are all gone the dust will remain.0 -

Im far too obssesive about cleaning i think.
In my house there is Me, OH and 3 children plus 2 dogs at mo (one foster)
Everyday i hoover up to 4 times a day, wash up about 3 times a day including dogs bowls, constantly tidying downstairs as kids always get bit all over the place, bleach toilets, clean up outside after dogs, 3 loads of washing per day and ironing. I dont dust, just wipe round with babywipes.
maybe i should just chill a bit more0 -
I hate housework, but that may be because I do it for a living. Full time cleaning of other people's homes cures you of any obsessions regarding your own.
I occasionally have a burst of energy one day over the weekend but often as not I look at it all, sigh and then get stuck into Youtube. I really cannot summon up the enthusiasm.
My home is more cluttered and untidy than dirty. Toilet is done fairly regularly and DW filled and put away daily. Cat litter changed (gonna try catsan), fish fed, meals cooked.
I try to keep the bathroom fairly clean and the kitchen gets a bit untidy on the worktops. Oh yes and bins emptied..Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

matching pegs
:rotfl:
I match the pegs, I've got three different plastic sets mixed up and I have to use the same ones in the same colour. My husband can't hang washing properly, it has to be tops upside down, bottoms right side up. He goes out there hanging trousers by the ankles and all sorts. When he isn't looking I change them. I am starting to worry myself now. :rotfl:0 -
Hoover lounge, hall and kitchen. 5 mins. How come? 5 mins for three rooms?
Also rinse toilets and sinks. What does rinsing entail? Flushing or what? A quick brush round?
Came back to say, since I've been dogless there's no dust but no life to speak of either.0
