I'm definitely going with the Meldrews on this. I hate the 'thanks' counter. I'm quite happy with the 'thanks' button itself, as it's nice to be able to thank someone without spamming up the board, and it's nice when someone says thank you for a post, but why count how many everyone's got? It automatically puts people in competition, and that's never been what this site is about - or at least it shouldn't be. (I'm nicer than you are... Ner ner ner ner ner! )

Confusion!!!!

I'm also happy the thanks button has gone (even if it is temporary) as it removes the 'competition for thanks' that seems to happen a lot on here, but I don't like the way it doesn't say 'MoneySavingExpert' when a window is minimised anymore!! I just spent half an hour looking for my window when I minimised it, and kept wondering why I had a Pigsback window open when I hadn't visited that site yet! Grrr!!!
