How to get buyers to pay quicker

To be honest I don't mind inflated p&p as long as it's mentioned in the description. If I feel the p&p is way to high I will contact the buyer before bidding to see if he's prepared to lower it if I win. Seeing as it's ebay rules that you can't charge buyers any of your paypal fees I think it's only fair that they should be able to charge for time and effort spent packing and queueing at the PO as long as they're upfront about the charges.0

I don't really mind inflated postage,as I just look upon it as the final price I'm prepared to pay. What bugs me though is when for example people charge £5. for P&P then it arrives over a week after paying with a second class postage of £1.75.If sellers are going to inflate the cost of the postage, they should at least get your item to you asap.0

I do the same as you. It's great when you surprise people and they get their item within 24 hrs. What I do, is charge as accurately as possible for postage taking in all my costs. I upgrade postage where I can too. If people pick second class and I can upgrade to first (without losing money) I do so. I think it's good and keep people coming back.0
