  • PepPop your suggestion for my friend's card was inspired! I just made an easel card with 2 Daisy/Dandelion dogs (not sure if they are actually the dogs but you'll know what I mean!) and a message 'Have fun with your new puppies'. She absolutely loved it - thanks so much. And thanks to to Wam and DTB for your suggestions - it's so nice to have people help out!

Hugs to TomsMom and Craftygranny - and of course anyone else who needs them.

Must do an online Tesco shop tonight, but will try and get round as many blogs as possible too.

    Hi
I'm just flying in to say I can't keep up at the moment as life has gone mad and will stay that way for at least the rest of this week. I haven't had chance to look at blogs at all and have only managed to read the last couple of pages.

Craftygranny and Tomsmum - thinking of all of you xx

    Hope to be back soon....

    Hello all :j

Hugs to Tomsmum and anyone else who needs them
    ((((((((((:o)))))))))

I spent yesterday evening at A & E after getting chunk of meat stuck in my throat:eek: - wouldn't shift up or down.......house full of first response and paramedics then ambulance came - 2 hours passed by this time- off to hospital, parked me in a corridor and lo and behold piece of meat shifted - all of a sudden I could swallow again..............felt such an idiot. Doc made me have a piece of toast and some water before I left to make sure I could swallow ok. Poor OH was beside himself (not good in a crisis) and this morning he felt really shattered so stayed in bed.
So weird end to Jan. and odd start to Feb...........needless to say nothing much been done today.................:(
Still, tomorrow, tomorrow (I keep saying to myself)...............lol:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hi all :)
I am new to this and looking for inspiration. I need to make 30 `new home/we`ve moved` cards for friends and family.

I have never made a card before so need some pointers and tips please.
Where is the best place to get plaon cards/envelopes?
Decorations for the card fronts also??x

It depends where you are, savingmummy any craft shops near to you where you can shop without having to pay postage? Lots of the girls (cough :o) use the Glitter Pot for their scallop cards which are lovely. As to what to put on the front check out ebay or anyone's blog 'cos there heaps and heaps of stuff out there. If you want to have a trawl go to UKscrappers their sponsors post regularly go to the forums, 'retail therapy' and then 'and now a word from our sponsors' this will list the sites sponsors and any new stuff or sales they have.

    Good Luck!

Congratulations on your win DTB - those little musings are fab, and really thinking of getting one done.

Mary - sorry to hear what happened to you yesterday, it must have been scary for you.

Lyndach - take care and I hope you manage to work through your PND.

I need a bit of advice. Someone I work with looked at my blog over the weekend and has asked if I would consider doing a couple of bulk orders for her. Tempted to give it a go, and will show her some of the cards I've made recently, but I have no idea what to charge her.

How much would you pay for cards like this:

    DSCF2767.jpg

The top 2 probably took me about 45 minutes each, the third one about 20, as there is very little to it, and the last one about 10, as it was all cut out on the craft robo.

Is it about right to ask for £2.00 each for the top to, and £1.25 for the bottom ones, or is this way to much to ask. I don't want to give them away and do want to make a bit of money from them.

Oh, almost forgot, I found somewhere to put the 12 box files I bought at the weekend.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
