Just finished making this for my Mum to give her on Mothers Day. I am quite pleased how it turned out, it was one of those things that could have gone in the bin!! but I persevered and it turned out ok. The challenge over on One Stop Craft this week is make something personal so I have entered it into the challenge.0

Sorry things are manic here and I am struggling without y laptop!!
Sending hugs to craftygranny & Toms mum and anyone else who needs them, I have briefly skimmed the pages but not thanked or remembered who has done what and when!! sorry
I put in a complaint with 3m about one of their adhesive roller pens which I got from lidls (it basically fell apart in my hand!) anyway cut a long story short she called me back 5 minutes ago and is sending me an ATG gun for my troubles and also is sending me extra tape which she is trying to source from somewhere else for me as they are out of stock!! all of this copletely free!!! I am quite excited
Love my new robo, but would love it even more if I had a laptop which I could actually use with it!! OH has had a play about with me but not actually made anything from it as yet!
hope the rest of you are all ok.
P.S not caught up with blogs either as this screen is very flickery and is just about killing me off!!!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Phew - finally caught up.
Sorry to hear your news Craftygranny and TomsMum, thoughts are with you both.
Lyndach - please don't suffer in silence with pnd - see your healthcare proffesional as soon as possible. I had it very severely after the birth of ds and because I left things, the whole family suffered and it took me a lot longer to recover.
Fantastic cards and makes on everyones blogs, have tried to comment on everyones cards and makes, but struggling to stay on top of things. That'll teach me to have a few days away!
Congrats Dawnteabag on your win. Also loving your sneaky peeks - just got my bigshot, so don't think DH would be very accomodating to a request for a cricut:rotfl::rotfl:
Just about to post my latest make over on my blog, not a card but have used those lovely minds eye papers again. Nearly forgot, have been playing with partial embossing as per Ikki's blog with some success. I Got bored with the gluing bits of card and paper together, so decided to experiment with photo mounting board and the sizzix texturz plates.... the result was I managed to produce an embossed frame with a clear area in the centre of the card. I was really pleased as the mount had a pre-cut square and only cost me 25p. I'm now scouring the house looking for other household items that could be used for partial embossing.0 -
Glittermum Don't know if this is any use to you but a friend of mine had a breast reduction and I bought her a blank card with two puppies on it wrote about "How she should enjoy her new puppies" You could substitue "jugs" etc. She liked it (this was before I started making my own)
I've put a new card on my blog - I'm not sure whether I like it or not. Will catch up properly later (supposed to be working)
