Just a quick post from me then I'm going to bed to read. I am really happy with myself tonight as I managed to make sets of nesties files on the Silhouette. I have made them in the sizes I most use just so I dont have to mess about everytime I need something for a card IYKWIM. I'm going to make some heart shaped ones tomorrow. Right my battery is starting to beep so I will say goodnight............0

Flourgirl - as someone who can't even get my printer to work I am very impressed with you!!!!0

Mel - Thank you! I'll give that a try. Have you found anywhere that sells bind it all papers/covers for a reasonable price, or is it pretty standard? I think I'm gonna need a lot :P
I'm having a debate with my OH about whether I should complete. The packet says "20 pages". There were 10. But are they counting both sides? That seems harsh, and misleading, but it depends on your definition of pages...I'd appreciate opinions
I love that little fishing boy. I need some cute stamps!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Thanks fo all the welcome backs...gemma thats a brillaint paper storage expecialy for nothing apart from the paint
Hope you all had a brillaint christmas and a very happy new year to you all as well
Rainamc...how is your mom doing?
CT ...Harry is fine, a right little hand full now and he knows who boss HIM!! lolIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Saucy - I think the papers and covers are really expensive for what they are. I don't buy them but if I see any cheap I'll let you know. Instead you could buy just plain chipboard pieces for your covers, were you looking at making large books or smaller ones??? I use coasters for my notebooks, some people use cds for covers - I haven't tried it myself yet though!!! I have one set of b-i-a pages - I'll have a check tomorrow to see how many sheets are in the pack!+0

Mel, Thank you
I just feel a little short changed, they were £2.99 which isn't too bad for 20 sheets but for 10 it is!
Does normal paper work just as well? I haven't tried any yet, but I'm still needing a guilotine thingy as my straight line cutting is terrible. I might give that a try...I'm using 6 x 6 covers at the mo, so I'll think of what else I could use. Thank you for your help
I love this thread. And that people are awake with me at 1.15am!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Gemm love your cabinet can't wait to see it pink .
Sorry i've been away all night but i went to a fundraiser for alicia . It was a kids one and the magician was fab and the dancers from a local theatre group were wonderful. we had a face painter a balloon modeller singersand allsorts and they all did it for free. Then a disco for them to finish . i didn't get home until midnight.
Alicia is having an mri scan tomorrow and a new shunt fitting in a week or two then when the results of everything come back we are hoping to get a date for her to fly. The consultant thinks we could be looking at the middle to the end of feb .
Thank you all for your constant help and support.
Hugs to all the other poorlies and welcome to the newbies.

Oooooh Gemma - I am going to be sooooo jealous once you've painted that cabinet pink!!! I know I will want it and will spend my days scouring skips LOL!!! How lucky was that - they are REALLY expensive!!! Very MSE!!! and now you can spend what you would've spent on trays on new stash!!!!! tut tut Popkins thats not how MSE works!!! It does in my house heeheee!!!
My 12x12 trays came yesterday and they are fab - have no idea why I thought I'd need 10 - maybe slighly over-ordered!!! guess I need to go shopping for more 12x12 papers and kick my !!! into gear and start making scrapbook pages like I intended 2yrs ago!!!!
Also my Sizzix order arrived - loads of things I ordered in the sale weren't included as the dispatch notice says out of stock - how annoying!! However I ordered tons so still got quite a few - just not the things I REALLY wanted! oh well! and also they sent a duplicate of this one so if anyone would like it please pm me and I'll be happy to donate it!!
Craftygranny - hope everything goes well tomorrow for Alicia!! May will be here before you know it!!
Flourgirl - feeling jealous of your silhouette - it sounds fab!! Can't wait to see all the things you're going to use it for!!
Padster - love your Easel card/box - very ingenious & might even give it a go myself altho if Rainmac is having difficulty with it I don't think I have a cat in hells chance of making a success of it... may well end up in the bin like my failed swing card & tri-fold card!!!
Some fab cards from y'all!!
I'm up at this ridiculous hour as I can't sleep cos of my Fibro - its driving me demented at the moment cos it then means I sleep during the day!! I try not to so I sleep at night which works for one night but then it starts all over again! sooo frustrating - back to my GP next week I think!0 -

Padster, I needed my box lid a little bit bigger but I was so tired last night, I couldn't work the measurements out so got frustrated with it!!! Am going to have another go later on
I booked us 5 days at Center Parcs for November last night, got a good deal and our villa has a fab round hydro bath, that's where I'll be spending the week
My boys are much better today :j, I am so relieved, hate it when they are poorly. OH on the other hand is really ill with flu type symptoms so he's not going for his weekend with the lads, he must be ill not to go
Have a good day everyone x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
