Morning all.
Thanks for all of the replies RE my blog, I thought it strange that all of my replies had dissapeared, but when I tried to go into settings there is no option to remove the words?? can anyone tell me how to do this please? It just doesn't see to be there! sorry for being a pain and completely thick!!
Flourgirl - Hope you have a lovely holiday
JHB - Good luck for your exams!
PLM - Thanks for the how to! not sure if I am capable of making something look as good as that but may well be worth a try, or even let the kids help then it doesn't matter what it looks like cause the kids will have made it :rotfl:
not sure if I have missed anyone?? Sorry if I have.
I was naughty and bought myself 2 more gorjuss girlsI really shouldn't have but I was engrossed in the link that Polly posted for the promarkers and there was a lovely card on there with gorjuss girls! I also tried to be clever and use my new punch. It looked great, then I decided to put paper on and punch through that and it refused to cut through the paper and card, so I now need to rethink my card for the trifold swap!! I have done one though!

XCut Gullotine is always going to be the thing I rave about
I'm glad you love yours too JHB
Rusty Sounds like a great plan.. if the kids do it.. it's artI have no idea what's going on with your blog. Have you gone into settings and looked at the comment tab to see what the settings are in there? Perhaps you have locked commenting. The Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch is really tempremental and I find it gets jammed a lot. What can you do when it's so pretty though?
Nearly had a heart attack last night. There was a tiny spider in the corner of the bathroom so I was winding Lee up saying 'OH MY GOODNESS, SAVE ME, LOOK AT THAT!' then he went 'OH MY LIFE that is HUGE' and I was laughing thinking he was playing along. Then he said 'You haven't seen it have you..' at which point I noticed a HUGE spider climbing across the shower curtain pole right where I was pointing. I ran from the bathroom screaming and all skeeved out!
That thing was not a spider.. that was a.. a.. SQUID! It was HUGEMONGOUSTASTIC!!!:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Hamish222 - Do hope your cat gets on OK at vets. I've pm'd you with loads of questions - sorry.
JHB - OMG that sound complicated! At least with multiple choice you can guess! I once did a course about statistics & that's what the tutor said - Good Luck!
Rusty - I've had a couple of scans on my head (looking for a brain!) & I did same as JHB so do try to relax. When do we get to see your new stamps? - I can't understand blogs so rarely, if ever, comment.0 -
Hamish, thinking of you and your cat today x
Gemm, your challenge is a brilliant one :T, I think we had so many responses last challenge as it was baby cards and Mel had conveniently just had a baby
Padster, ouch, so sorry your shoulder is giving you so much grief, the physio will help but make sure you get lots of rest as that will help too x
Marg, fantastic idea for a card challenge, i think Rusty is next week and you could do the one after if you like?
Skiergirl, oh no, so sorry you are having trouble with your back and neck. Hope you get in to see a physio quickly, you and Padster could have a double appointmentYour anniversary card is lovely x
ali b, no worries, glad you like the bits, looking forward to seeing what you make
PLM, it is sooooo good to have you back in the cosy fold :A

JHB, fantastic card on your blog, seriously gorgeous x Massive good luck wishes with your exam
Rusty, I have tried loads to comment on your blog and can't, odd cos I used to be able to. I've got a little something to send you today x
Mary, thank you for having confidence in me, means a lot, popping a little something in the post to you x
Finally finished my Crafty Place swap card so cgcockcroft it will be posted today:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I bought the xcut guillotine after plm's ravings - was too scared not to :rotfl:. Am now raving about it myself
.

I'm really rubbish at posting comments on blogshave just tried to comment on yours rusty but can't see a button to post it
. Can you try altering your comments setting so it comes up as a pop up rather than embedded at the bottom of the post.
Good luck this afternoon JHB.
Off to get my needle out to do my stitching card - wish me luck I may be some time - not that sewing or x-stitch has ever caused me problems but am gonna have problems being accurate with my holes :rotfl:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

They have them on offer at the minfor the full set of new ones
... or singularly for £1.60 each
then you can get 10 or 15% off
I am holding you responsible for me spending last night! I very nearly bought more promarkers aswell lol!
Can someone please do a test comment on my blog please? It is HERE!
I have managed to take the number/word thingy off it I think! so I am hoping this is now ok?
PLM - I noticed it got jammed easily when I was playing last night, normally I wouldn't be so annoyed with it but for such an expensive punch you would think it would be perfect! Maybe that is the MSE side of me showing through!
Rainmac, what is it? :j :j :j I am all excited nowthankyou
Paddingtondoo - Good luck!
JHB good luck with your exams
Marg - I have had one before and fell asleep in there! lol lets hope I manage to stay awake in this one! .... still doesn't stop me being nervous, not at the scan but at what they will find and what happens next but I guess I should be grateful that it is happening so fast!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Morning all - just been trying to log in with my work password - dozy mare!
Welcome Tiny Pablo - JB was spot on with her advice. I find the Internet far far better then real life shops like the Range and Hobbycraft - but always end up popping in and sepnding a fortune!
Polly - I have about 20 promarkers, but find it really difficult to choose which colours to get next! I think what I need to do is make a note every time I need a colour that I haven't got but I'm never that organised! I would instinctively just buy every shade of purple known to man, but really need to branch out into other colours!
Rusty - my swap card fell apart overnight! I think I had some duff dst and all the panels fell off:rotfl:It's now repaired and will be winging it's way to you today.
Talking of sugar nellies - which Rusty was.... I've go a couple that I got in the goodie bag, but they just aren't me. They are Daisy on Trike and Demure if anyone wants them.
SHould be uniform shopping - my son has a real aversion to adjustable waists, but is a tiny thing really so ends up in clothes for 4 year olds (he's 6!) Wish me luck!0 -
Yeah, I have made another card - it looks a lot better than the last one - Thank you again rainmac - hope the postman comes to you today! I have made a card with a handbag on it using some lovely paper that rainmac sent me and copied a template off a site that I googled - this is for my sister in law who is handbag daft - and buys a new one every week  I am going to try and put a pic. up for your feedback - but I think I need my husbands help as a complete technophobe unless does anybody know can I put it on word and then copy and paste it onto this thread??0
