Hello all, I have some very good news to share with you, I hope you don't mind. My mum had her first mamogram check up (after having her ops a year ago) the week before Christmas and got her results yesterday and both boobs are fine, no nasties of any description :j :j :j. She said she can't put into words the relief she is feeling.

Great cards on blogs, Glittermum I love your new die, I am sooo jealous :D

We've got some friends coming for dinner tomorrow so I have lots of cooking to do. Made biscotti for the first time this morning, pretty impressed with how it looks. Going to make the bolognese sauce for the lasagne today and a carrot cake following NEgirl's recipe on her lovely blog. Best get a move on... ;)

Rainmac thats such fantastic news :j:j:j What a great start to the weekend, I bet she had a few tears of relief, please give her my good wishes xx

Pleeeeeease can I come for dinner, yum yum, I can bring the wine and the amaretto biscuits oh and the spaghetti I bought in Venice :)

Skiergirl, I quite fancied the docrafts bag this time but I have spent loads recently on stamps and paper so really can't. I have found following sketches to be a revelation, the cards have been coming together quite easily this week whereas I have been in a can't craft/won't craft rut for weeks. Maybe try and follow a sketch or two and see what happens? I still haven't started the cross stitching I promised myself I would start on the 1st January .

Padster, I LOVE the easel frame on your blog, it's brilliant and very gorgeous, you very clever lady :T :T :T

Rusty, huge well done to your littlie :j :j :j, moving from nappies to pants is a huge step but she'll always be your baby just like my wee monster is and always will be my baby. Good luck at work tomorrow, please don't overdo it xxx

Thank you for the well wishes for my mum, going to pop round on Sunday and surprise her with some flowers ;).
