The kids ended up stating off school for the rest of the week. There hasn't been anymore snow, but the stuff hasn't disappeared that descended on Tues - the roads are so icy - so I'm not sure whether the kids will be back in school on Mon. They're staying at their Nan's house tonight so I've got a bit of a break from them - they've been bickering all week! My boiler seems to have given up in the cold weather!!! The fire in the lounge still works, so I'm sat next to that. Our house is a really small terrace so it doesn't get that cold really which is just as well!!!!

Flourgirl - a mini album sounds like a fab idea - it'll look great with those papers!

Ct1720 - looke like your kids had a great time in the snow! Your allsorts challenge card is lovely - I love that sparkly card candy. Your craft robo lattice card is great - really effective.

Mumhug - fab challenge cards! I think my favourite one is the bird one - really pretty colours!

Lou05 - welcome to the thread!

Myzdamena - I love your calendar and notebook set - those papers are lovely.

Ali - love your card - its so classy!! I've just ordered from sizzix - there wasn't much left in the sale. There's a thread on UKscrappers dedicated to the sizzix website - I think most of the ladies on it have been saying that they've been waiting ages for their orders.

Popkins - welcome back - I'm glad to hear you had a fab birthday and a fab time in Barcelona. I hope you feel better soon!!!!

Jazabelle - your cards are great - I love her blue hat - she looks very striking!!!

Rainmac - happy belated birthday to Thomas - thanks for the link - I bet he'll have a great time tomorrow!

Skiergirl - hope you feel better soon!

SaucySecrets - hi - I remember you from the scrapbooking thread - I hope you're okay! Did you ever get round to making all those scrapbooks?

Furrypig - gorgeous card - I love the frame.

Taypier - welcome to the thread!

Glittermum - gorgeous cards. I love the valentine's day one - its really dramatic! Your kids ones are perfect - the star paper looks great!

Dawnteabag - hope your washing machine is delivered soon! Mine broke in the Summer and I waited for a month before I got a new one - it was horrendous - especially with 3 kids. I had to cart all my washing over to the m-i-l's on the handles of my pram. Luckily she lives only a few streets away! Sorry about your floor - how awful! At least you got your car out - I hope the snow disappears soon for you.

Rusty - I'm glad your OH managed to get home.

Sunrise - fab valentine's card - I love your boxer shorts idea! Those earrings look really pretty and I love the little heart box.

Mary - I hope you feel better soon dearie!

Wam - I love your card - that image is soooooo cute!

Paddingtondoo - fabulous bugaboo cards!!!!! I love those bears - they are adorable.
  • Great cards everyone! I'm glad that i'm not the only one fed up with the stupid weather - driving in it is way too scary for my liking and we have to go into work from now on or we have to take holiday (no pay otherwise).

Anyways new card on my blog http://leialegweak.blogspot.com/ - it was supposed to be for OH's Aunt's birthday then I decided the colour scheme was actually quite masculine apart from the flowery vellum backing but have now decide it's actually the perfect anniversary card so will have to make another card now!

I'm quite amazed at myself in that I haven't ordered anything from the craft sales or even any new stash for a while. I think i'm getting withdrawals lol there were a few bits I wanted from Sizzix but it sold out too quickly x
  • My hubby thnks i'm ill bought nothing so far in the sales apart from 6 stamps from funky kits that were half price. I told him it's his fault as i have nowhere to put them as my new shelves aren't up yet. lol.
Might have a good laugh tomorrow and take some pics of the tip that is my craft room.
Bunbun carly has to wait about 5 weeks before she gets switched on but they are healing up nicely then they'll turn on one then the other a few days later and add additional hearing levels every few weeks over the next 6 months or so. Thank you for askng. She's doing amazing but we keep forgetting she has no hearing at all at the moment. oops.

Dawnteabag hope your luck changes to good luck soon you could really use some.

Hello, I have a quick question, just before Xmas I saw a chipboard calendar that I now can't find. It's a blank chipboard piece (A5/A4 not sure?) with several little pieces of chipboard attached so you can add dates and countdown the days to Christmas - or you could use it as a daily calendar I guess. I have searched and searched but can't find it . Does anyone know what I'm on about and can you direct me to the product!!!

I've just ordered a couple of super cute Spring stamps from Elzybells, I love their stamps :D

Hope you feel much better soon Mary xxx

It's like one of those really expensive cards you see in shops but absolutley love so you don't mind paying £5 for it

Rainmac found one on a blog, scroll down a bit is this the kind of thing you mean?

Maybe you could use this and cut it down. The insides are only paper though. Free p&p :)

Maybe Melissa can help you ;)
