Morning Ladies
I hope all the poorlies are feeling much better today. Louby hope things went well for you and the babe, can't wait to hear all about it xx
Wifey I really hope your trip isn't going to be spoiled I know how much you have been looking forward to going.
We are going to Venice with Easy Jet and about a month ago they announced they were stopping the flights to Venice in the New Year, we were panicking abit cos we fly home on New Years Day!! anyway we had an email last week to say is would stop on the 6th January... phew... Don't think we could afford to be stranded in Venice!!
It's Willows Christmas Concert this afternoon so we are going to have an early lunch, I've just had time to update my blog if you want a nosey
A few quick and easy Christmas cards
here
Flourgirl, your Christmas cards are beautifulI too have underestimated how many cards I needed to make this year. I bought a few cards from a friend who makes the most beautiful stuff so some people have handmade cards from me but not made by me
It's Jack's Xmas play tomorrow afternoon and Thursday evening. I am so looking forward to it :j
Been to pick up some football tickets this morning. OH and Jack are going to watch MK Dons play on Saturday and are really looking forward to it. It will be Jack's first ever game and my dad's going with them and he hasn't seen a live match since he was in his twenties! Bought the tickets with Tesco Clubcard vouchers and it cost a grand total of £13
Rusty, your robin card is gorgeous, love the ribbon on it and the image is beautiful xxx I feel ever so mean as I haven't made my OH a card:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

The ribbon was from crafty ribbon, the ones I won on the friday freebie :j ... Did you miss the blog candy
Good luck for Jacks play :j :j I saw Toms last fri and it was fab!!.... Hope you are feeling better

Yep feeling bit better, think my head is telling me I have no time to be illGot lots of pressie wrapping to do tonight.
I have some gingham ribbon like that, well used the last of it today
The Tesco magazine offers are fab. They don't do as many as they used to. Jack has been getting the Star Wars magazine for a year and I've just applied for Transformers. I used vouchers for a couple of subscriptions last Xmas, nice cheapie presents
Will have a look at your blog candy later, got to sort out some washing and then off to school. Looks like it's going to snow here and it's sooooo cold:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Oh god don't – I was in Florida with my friend and her family last year when XL airlines went bust the day before we were due to fly home. My Mum text me at a stupid time in the morning to warn me and everyone thought I was messing around as we’d been joking about staying until we switched the news on. When we got to the airport is was absolutely packed and no-one had any idea what was going on but eventually we were ferried off to a hotel for the night and then managed to fly home the next day on a complimentary flight from Virgin. x0 -
Scroll down and have a look at this santa card its fantastic0

Rusty I love your robin love birds card, you are right the ribbon just makes it perfect.
Lei your tri fold card is amazing. Oh gosh you were so lucky to get home ok, and without having to pay for extra flights.
Willows concert was brilliant the theme for the whole school was Christmas around the world, her class did India and did a Bollywood dance they had fab costumes and bright red bindis, it was quite funny when they all smiled cos not many of them had front teeth I really had a lump in my throat especially at the end when they all sang Silent Night. All the kids were absoloutely amazing.0 -
Hello all :j
At last, got tree up, lights on and decorations up........took me nearly all day.! But managed to fit in making a card........don't know what sort youd call it but someone sent me one last year and it was like a triangle -well, 3 altogether, folded so that there's a main one for the actual card (does that make sense ?) Anyway, I've done it for the girl who comes and hoovers for me. She fell in love with some green spotted ribbon I'd got -only paper I'd got was cream with holly on so I stuck the ribbon on diagonally going up to the point at the top so it's supposed to resemble a sort of xmas tree (Oh eck......I'm sure that all sounds gobblydegook.........lol)
Did one for young lad thats calling on Friday..........nice and simple.........bit of blue and silver and a snowman braddle.
Thanks for the suggestions of door hanger..........I did wonder about that but I'll have to do it out of thick card..........don't have any wooden ones left and only really got Thursday to do it-can't print one out -no ink
Hospital tomorrow -many thanks for being 'inside out' again for us.............just need to hope the weather doesn't turn to snow and ice and the 'doom and gloom' some of the locals are forecasting otherwise we'll not get there. We're going to the local hospital thats closer but the roads can get very dodgy...........so fingers and everything else crossed so things go in our favour.:jI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
