My eldest wants to physically go Christmas shopping tomorrow for OH's pressie. - thus far I have managed to do it all online!
Ah well, a chance to sample the Christmas subway I suppose - I hate shopping at Christmas in shopping centres.

I've just been catching up as I haven't been able to get on much this week. Rusty I haven't been on this thread long enough, or I've missed the post, to know what your problem is but I do hope you are coping with the pain and that you are soon feeling a lot more comfortable. Hospitals are terrible for keeping you hanging around. My OH sometimes arrives for his clinic appointment around 11am and gets seen around 4.30pm, and it takes 1.5 hours to get to the hospital so it's a long day.
My Cuttlebug arrived but not all my folders, but I've made a couple of easel cards this week which I'm happy with - thanks for the link to the you-tube demo, sorry I forgot who posted it. Perhaps my mojo is coming back after my lengthy dry spell away from carding! Also got my new stamps from Pink Gem very quickly and had a little play with those.
Heard yesterday that my OH is being discharged from hospital today following his recent stem cell transplant. He's been away for two months (one month of that in Bristol and it took me seven hours to get there so I only went down at weekends) so it will be very strange to have someone in the house again. He has a long road to recovery so we'll just take one day at a time.
Can anyone help me with colouring techniques please? I'm no artist and I'm not very good at colouring in my stamped images. I know pro-markers are probably the best but I can't buy anything else at the moment. I have watercolour pencils and brush markers, plus some watercolours but I just need to know how to actually do it so it doesn't look like a 5 year old has coloured them in.

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
good to see you back rusty and hope your aches and pains subside soon xx0

Rusty sending you thoughts for an easing of the pain.
TomsMum have a look on youtube, if you search for 'colouring with promarkers' or 'colouring with copic markers' you should find some handy vids!
Just another thought, do a search for 'using watercolour pencils' too. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
