Skiergirl, what awful news, so sorry xxx

Mary, please don't think the worst. Have packaged some magnets up for you and hope to post them on Thursday. Thinking of you and Mr Mary xxx

flourgirl, display globes are a new one on me but love your idea of adding sweets :D

DS1 is at karate with OH so best get the dinner in the oven ready for when they get back. I have an evening planned of card making and tv and I have a packet of Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Fingers in the cupboard that have been calling to me all day so I may have to open them up with a nice cup of tea later on ;)

Choccy - thank you for the gorgeous card that arrived today :T - and of course it was alright ;)

Rusty - hope I haven't upset you by my suggestion :o Sorry I can't help with info about the discectomy. Hope you've had a fab day with your visitors :D

Mary - hope your OH improves soon xx

Flourgirl - hope you have a great time in Venice, I went a few years ago and it was 45 in the shade, so I keep promising myself another trip - it was expensive though :(

CT - fab cards and cake :T

Rainmac - your kits for post pals look fab and the cards are very cute. I'll go and investigate the blog candy too - thank you :A

Princess - hope you and your family all feel better soon xx

I still have a stuffed up head that isn't clearing, but at least I know it will go eventually. I've just found out that a friend has been diagnosed with advanced cancer and may not live til christmas  - so compared to her I'm very fortunate.

first snag the picture of it, right click on the photo of the blog candy (is it rainmac's?) and save it safely somewhere.

Go to your dashboard, select 'add a gadget', hit the blue '+' sign at Add a Picture and follow the instructions. I've just added rainmacs blog candy

    Thanks for that Wifey

rainmac - bless you. Something for me to look forward to. And I'm trying not to think the worst...........even the 'boffins' can be wrong.
Always remember when I was at the National Heart hospital in London with my little boy, a lady was there whose adult son hadn't recovered from the anesthetic properly and was in a coma and the 'men in white coats' told he would never recover...............but she waited, she prayed, wore her knickers inside out (apparently thats lucky...............lol) went to the local church, the bells struck and her sons eyes opened !!! He'd been in a coma for several weeks. 3 months later he was on a ward and learning to walk and talk all over again and doing very well so I'm a great believer in 'positive thinking'.........and the belief that even the specialists can get it wrong.

    Oh dear............here I go dampening spirits again...............sorry:rolleyes:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I feel better today - was suffering from one of my stressy fits - don't find it at all easy to deal with workmen and wasn't looking forward to having mess everywhere :o.
These ones are stars though we have 3 new windows so far and they swept up and even hoovered - did a better job than I normally do :rotfl::rotfl:. Coz they were working in the drive they even swept the leaves up :D.

They're back in the morning to do the door utility room and downstairs toilet - will be able to get in without having to do a shoulder charge with any luck .

Anyhoo back to craft related - how cute are the new Polly craft bears? and craft superstore have a hello kitty big shot reduced

Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p
  • Mary - you never fail to amaze me you truly are a glass half full woman! I love the way you make us smile and I'm up for wearing my nicks inside out if it helps Mr Mary ;)

Plus it will save me untangling them when they come out the washing machine :rotfl:
