I still have a stuffed up head that isn't clearing, but at least I know it will go eventually. I've just found out that a friend has been diagnosed with advanced cancer and may not live til christmas  - so compared to her I'm very fortunate.0 -

I don't have any normal rectangle nesties but thought I could at least cut some card down to mount under the deckled edge or would it look silly?? These are the ones I have bought!
I have these and they look absolutely fine with a plain rectangle underneath! I've done it here: http://leialegweak.blogspot.com/2009/11/chalked-snowmen-card.html - it almost make it look like the edge has been ripped... x0 -

Thanks everyone, Lily seems to be doing really well considering she's ill, she's no trouble at all.
She seems to be getting over the worst of it now, thing is she was supposed to have a jab last week ut got a cold so i wouldnt let them do it, now she is due her jab tommorrow and she's ill again. I think she's just trying to get out of having them done.
I popped a few cards into our local newsagents on the way to school, as we are a small town and everyone is very community minded, they stock allsorts of handmade locally produced stuff, there's a lady that makes fudge, another that makes cakes, etc etc.
They have some handmade cards but they are very basic and aimed at the very old. So i left a few there as the boss was out, so we will see if they will stock them. Probably wont sell any but worth a try. The 1 thing my mum drilled into me as a child was if you dont ask you wont know.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Hi you busy lot !
Done nothing today except re-wrap grandaughters birthday pressies........her birthdays at christmas and I forgot about the roll of birthday paper I'd bought...........lol So, off with the christmas stuff and now it does at least look like a bagt of birthday bits.
Phone call from hospital shook me up...........OH's biopsy from last week showed clear so hospital want him to have another one......different sort under CT Control (whatever that is). Definitely something wrong but no-one can commit themselves as to what it is. Not sounding too good but, fingers crossed etc. You never know................:oI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
